The delectable handcrafted mooncakes, fresh out of the oven, are the perfect afternoon delights. The iconic buttery scent, softness and sweetness of fresh-from-the-oven goods crafted by Hong Kong-style bakeries have become the city’s palatable memories over generations. To embrace the nostalgic sentiment and revive the local dining culture, the culinary team at Man Ho Chinese Restaurant introduces an unprecedented bakery pop-up counter at Man Ho Garden, serving delectable handcrafted mooncakes fresh out of the oven with unmatched flavour and texture. The specially curated mooncakes include four distinct flavours per box. Mini Mooncake with Macadamia Nuts and Winter Melon Paste features a mildly sweet and chewy crystal-like filling complemented by the buttery aroma of macadamia nuts. Coated in a chocolate crust to enhance the flavours, Mini Mooncake with Taro Paste will tantalise your palate with a velvety and rich taro filling. Relish the enticing blend of savoury and sweet in the Mini Mooncake with Yunnan Ham, Rose and Red Date Paste. The mellow richness of the cured ham is entwined with the floral fragrant and sweet notes emanating from the red dates. Then there’s the Mini Mooncake with Tangerine Peel and Red Bean Paste, highlighting the classic pairing of the smooth red bean paste and subtly citrusy tangerine peel.
