As we welcome the Year of the Snake, the Michelin-starred Man Ho Chinese Restaurant presents a delightful selection of handcrafted Chinese New Year puddings.
The newly created ‘Lotus Root Cake with Osmanthus and Preserved Tangerine Peel’ is a light and refreshing treat. The mild sweetness from locally grown fresh lotus roots is enriched by the lingering floral aroma of dried osmanthus and subtly citrusy notes from the tangerine peel. This year, the sought-after savoury pudding is elevated to ‘Turnip Pudding with Assorted Dried Seafood’ with premium ingredients. With no additional salt, the exquisite delicacy is made from locally sourced organic turnips, dried squid and preserved sausages, complemented by Japanese conpoy, Japanese dried silver fish, dried shrimp and shiitake. ‘Chinese New Year Pudding with Mashed Red Dates’ will also please your palates with traditional flavours, featuring top-notch Xinjiang red dates with fragrant pulp and a blend of coconut milk.
Each pudding can be packed in either an elegantly designed gift box or a thermal bag, making it the ideal present for gifting families and business partners.
Available for self-pick-up at Man Ho Chinese Restaurant from 20 to 27 January 2025, 12.00 pm to 9.00 pm. A 3-day advance order is required.
